I took CPR/first Aid here and it was the best decision! I have taken CPR classes in the past where they just talk at you the entire time. Jeff made sure to get everyone involved and was happy to answer any questions we had (even if they were stupid questions). The class flew by and he kept us laughing the whole time. Highly recommend!

Jeff was an amazing instructor! Also, the price was reasonable compared to other places.

Staff was very helpful both on the phone and in person. The teacher knew what he was doing, explained everything well and made sure we had hands on experience for proper learning. It felt quick and painless for 8 hours

I wasn't looking forward to having to get this certification; however, Michael was a wonderful instructor and he made it worthwhile. He didn't just teach the facts-- he gave real life examples that would help me remember what I would need to know. I got something out of it, so thank you Michael!
They have classes during the week as well as weekends. It was easy to find a time to go; no sign-up is required. $44/class.

Small room. Clean, walk-in basis. Reasonable price. Took the CPR/First Aid class which are 2 separate classes on a Sat. Instructor was very good, funny and taught realistically. This was the most entertaining instructor I've ever had for CPR. He explained real life situations like it is and how/what to do in a real way, not "idealistically". I really learned from him and enjoyed his teaching style. He made students laugh a lot; at least I did. Other CPR classes were very boring but not at UTC. You walk out with a temp CPR card until the real one arrives in mail which takes about 3 days. I'll return if I need to renew CPR. I recommend this place.

This place is great!
I found it after looking at fellow Yelp reviews and did some research before going, as I was a first-time CPR learner. It was affordable (cheaper than the City's classes and some local Christian organizations).
The CPR class size was small (there were 5 other students, and I took it on a weekday at 9am) which made it easy to listen to and see the instructor. Our instructor, Michael, was great! He had a slightly dry sense of humor, but overall he is quite positive, funny, and helpful. I was not bored during the instruction.
He also gave real world/common scenarios when using CPR, which were helpful and made me feel more prepared.
I am excited to take the First Aid class in a week or two, during their weekend session.
Some tips if you are looking to go here:
*Plan to allow an extra 5-10 minutes for parking and navigating and read directions on their website. I ignored the website and relied on google maps/my gps which had me go in strange circles around the building. Luckily, I still arrived a few minutes early, but I cut it pretty close!*Bring paper for notes. I wanted to write down every single thing that he said, because that is how I commit them to memory. But we only had the back of a handout for notes, and that space filled up quickly.
